The HRV Scanner concept offers following possibilities:

• One minute deep breathing test and heart rate variability analysis
• Five minute stress analysis
• Active relaxation exercise with visual biofeedback (with the aid of deep breathing technique and relaxation, increase the altitude of a hot air balloon as HRV increases)
• Real-time evaluation of stress level. This is done by measuring sympathetic and parasympathetic activity. They also indicate emotional changes real time.
• 24h heart rate variability and activity measurement
• Long-term (up to 5 days) registering of HRV and activity
• Personal training device (Qiu ball) which helps increasing the status of autonomic nervous system. The ball indicates changes in HRV by changing colors from red to green. Suitable for personal use and training at home.

1 minute deep breathing test is done real-time and online. With this test you can evaluate how well autonomic nervous system works. This is done by measuring both sympathetic and parasympathetic activity. As a result you will have a complete report indicating your ability to control heart and body function.

Long term measurements

With the HRV Scanner you can also measure for 24h or even 5 days. This is done by using eMotion ECG sensor manufactured by Mega Electronics. The unique features of this sensor make it possible to see sports activity, sitting and sleeping habits along with measured HRV.

Personal HRV Training

It is possible to train for better HRV even at home by yourself. For doing this, you can add Qiu biofeedback balls to your HRV Scanner system. The Qiu shows HRV biofeedback by changing it’s color as you breath. The aim is to move from red to yellow and green as you breath deeply and relax. Training your HRV with Qiu is rewarding and fun.
